From the moment we are born we celebrate the milestones in our lives; Christenings, Birthday’s, Engagements, Weddings, Retirement and even Divorce!  So why is it that we don’t plan our final party, the party that celebrates our life?

We believe that planning a funeral should not be a sombre, sorrowful occasion but an opportunity to celebrate a well lived colourful life, reflect our personality, hobbies and interests. It is a chance to say farewell.  

At Divine Departures we specialise in helping everyone plan for the future, regardless how old or young you are, whether you have a life limiting illnesses or even if you’re not planning' to go any time soon', but would like to be organised.

Our 3 simple, personalised plans; Living Will, Final Days and Funeral Wishes takes away any uncertainty or potential burden from family and friends.  These documents make sure that there will be no misunderstandings, questions or arguments regarding what you would / would not have wanted to happen as you approach death or after your death. The plans provide you with an opportunity to have your ‘final say’ and make sure that your final wishes are carried out exactly as you want.

Divine Departures works in partnership with many organisations to offer a wide range of products and services. We organise both religious and civil funerals, we will cater for any request, however unusual. We pride ourselves on making the funeral as individual as you.

“I love going on holiday, I want my funeral to reflect this. I want a coffin painted with sand, sea and palm trees. I want to wear a bikini, have my sunglasses on and have my favourite sun hat in my hand. I want everyone to wear Hawaii shirts and summer clothes. Afterwards,I want everyone to drink cocktails with umbrellas and have a beach party."
